The Madison County Office of the Sheriff conducts an Intern Program.  The purpose of this program is to offer a first hand experience of the many different units within the Sheriff's Office.  Each intern works in the various units such as Patrol, Corrections, 911, Evidence and Investigations.  At the end of the semester interns should be able to understand how the Sheriff's Office operates.  This is a non-paid internship.  Interns must receive credit through their college or university.
